The MoU for cooperation is signed between Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and Mandakh University

Mandakh University has successfully implemented ISO 9001:2015 standards of the Quality Management in 2017 and based on this experience the university has put the goal to implement the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management Systems (EOMS) and worked on developing ISO documents to satisfy all necessary requirements of this standard. In September 2020, Mandakh University has been ISO21001:2018 certified and has become first ever EOMS standards Implementer in Mongolia. One of the main principles of this standard is that all students have equal access to such educational resources so that they all have an equal opportunity to succeed in school, careers and in life. It includes that educational organization who implements ISO21001:2018 standards would satisfy special needs learners’ demands and expectation. Mandakh University has been able to support special needs learners’ expectation and demands.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has chosen Mandakh University for collaboration to implement state policy for supporting special needs learners’ education and encouraging them to have jobs with their obtained knowledge and skills.

The MoU for cooperation between Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and Mandakh University has been signed by A. Ariunzaya, Minister of Labour and Social Protection,  and G.Nanjid, President of Mandakh University, on October 9, 2020.

Within the framework of the MoU, the following activities shall be carried out. They are as follows:

  • Undertake measures focused on creating a Model university meeting special needs learners’ demands and needs
  • Assist special needs learners to study at Mandakh University and get higher education
  • Conduct trainings and workshop to increase the capacity of the organization, NGOs and citizens who are carrying out the activities to protect the rights of the people with disability and provide economic, financial and business education to them.
  • Organize activities for developing positive attitudes and understanding of special needs learners among the faculties and students.
