Accounting Department

The department employs a total of 22 faculties-7 doctors, 6 professors, 15 lecturers with master’s degrees. Among the faculties, 5 lecturers are honored as the Best Accountant of Mongolia, 16 lecturers are Certified Public Accountant CPA, 3 lectures are Certified Tax Consultant, 1 lecturer is a Certified Appraiser and 5 lecturers are certified as Auditor in their professional field.

Specific activities of the department

The handbooks and textbooks written by our faculties for the accounting program courses such as Fundamental of Accounting, Financial accounting, Cost accounting, Management accounting, Intermediate accounting, Auditing, IFRS Glossary, Financial reporting 1 and 2, Cost and performance management and Financial management, are widely used in the universities and colleges of Mongolia.

All courses taught by lecturers of the department have manuals and exercise books.

  • Won 10 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals from the National Olympiad on Accounting which is organized every year by the Mongolian Institute of Certified Public Accountants
  • The1st place winner of from Tax Olympiad online, 2014, 2021 (Lecturers)
  • The1st place winner of from Tax Olympiad online, 2017, 2022 (students)
  • The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from Olympiad on testing future auditors
  • Received 1-5th place regularly from “Who knows Tax Laws of Mongolia?” competition

Department of Foreign Languages

The Department of Foreign Languages was founded as a result of structural changes in the university made in the academic year 2012-2013.

The department has 12 faculty members; 2 doctors, a Ph.D candidate and 8 lecturers with master’s  degrees. The  objectives of foreign language courses are to teach students to actively use reading and listening strategies and  help them to improve their abilities to communicate in a selected foreign language. The department teaches General English and Business English at intermediate and advanced levels within undergraduate  and graduate study programs. It also teaches elective Japanese and Korean language courses at beginner’s level.

Improve continually foreign language courses and research work; encourage students to obtain selected foreign language at academic program level.

Science and Engineering Department

The department started activities under the name first known as the "General Academic Department" when Mandakh University was founded in 1992. From 2018–2019 academic year, based on the trends and demands of social and economic development, the Engineering-Economics program was newly implemented and established as the "Department of Basic Science and Engineering. The department has a 15 faculty members of 2 professors, 1 associate professor, 4 doctors, 2 Ph.D candidates, 5 lecturers with master’s  degree and 1 assistant of professor.  

The goal of the department

 Implementation of basic science programs, development of academic research, combining training and research in accordance with the country's development trends, preparing leaders in the field of engineering technology with economic knowledge, with the right attitude, mature and convertible specialists.

Aim of the department:

  • Introducing and implementing, in compliance with educational standards, new results-oriented engineering education techniques and technologies in both classroom and non-classroom training
