THE “SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION WEEK” CAMPAIGN ORGANIZED ANNUALLY BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT WAS HELD ON MAY 12–16, 2025

The “Sustainable Development Education Week” campaign, traditionally organized every year by the Department of Accounting, was successfully held during May 12–16, 2025.

Within the framework of the campaign:

  • May 12–21, 2025: In support of sustainable development through responsible consumption, the “Exchange & Swap” fair was organized among faculty, staff, and students. Participants exchanged or sold items they no longer use, whether new or gently used, to promote responsible use.
  •  May 13, 2025: In the “Cost Accounting Olympiad,” 28 students participated (20 third-year students from the main school and 8 third-year students from the Darkhan branch). The competition was sponsored for the 13th year by Mongol Tax TMZ LLC, which awarded monetary and material prizes to students who ranked in the top places.
  • In the “Mini Olympiad of Finance, Account, Analysis and Accounting,” 76 students took part (53 second-year students from the main school, 9 first-year students, and 14 second-year students from the Darkhan branch). Awards were given to the top three students individually, while the Best Class was selected based on the combined scores of 15 students per class. The competition was sponsored by Babi Tami Audit LLC through its prize fund.
  • May 14, 2025: To promote Quality Education and to encourage, motivate, and increase student interest in their studies, the contest titled “Teacher, Please Think of Me” was organized within the courses taught by the department.
  • May 15, 2025: To raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals and promote the Accounting program, the Brainy Teens competition was held among students of the Mandakh Lyceum High School. The contest featured four stations — Base Island, Brainy Bay Island, Green Mind Island, and Balance Island — combining fun challenges and presentations. A total of 20 students from classes 11A and 11B participated.
  • May 16, 2025: A webinar titled “Environmental, Social, Governance, and Sustainability Reporting” was broadcast live on the Facebook page of the Department of Accounting and Analysis /Professional School of Accounting, Mandakh University/ from 11:00 to 13:00. As of May 19, 2025, the livestream had reached 12,000 views. Presentations and discussions were delivered by:

They shared insightful presentations and engaged in an open Q&A session.
