Mandakh University and Cheongju University in South Korea    develop bilateral cooperation

The representatives of Cheongju University visited Mandakh University and had a bilateral meeting with top management of the university on March 17, 2023. 

At the meeting, the two parties discussed and exchanged their opinions on potential areas for further bilateral cooperation.  Cheongju University is located in Cheongju City, the capital of North Chungcheong province, South Korea. The university is divided into 8 component schools for undergraduate studies and five graduate schools. More over 800 foreign students study at this university and the most of them are from China, Vietnam and Mongolia.

At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Tae Jong from the Office of International Affairs at Cheongju Univesity expressed his gratitude for this bilateral meeting.  In this conversation, he mentioned the opportunity to implement a joint 2+2 program for Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, and Finance.   

       

 Professor G.Nanjid, President of Mandakh University,   introduced that the university has  collaborations  with over 20 international partner universities in various areas, including exchanging faculty and staff,  student exchange programs, joint research activities, and sharing experiences. She continued her conversation with her proposal to develop a collaboration with Cheongju University in the following 3 forms.

  1. Joint degree 2+2 program
  2. Student exchange program
  3. Mobility program

Two parties have mutually discussed and agreed to collaborate in various areas, including exchanging experiences among university faculty members, collaborating on research activities, and implementing a cultural exchange program through a student exchange program for both countries.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation between the two universities in May, after   completing the necessary preparations.
