The First Statistics Olympiad was held successfully.

The first Statistics Olympiad named after founder Sandagsuren.B was held on 30th of April at Mandakh Burtgel University.

Nanjid.G, director and professor of Mandakh Burtgel University, Ulziibat.S, PhD, professor and executive director of MBU, Eldev-Ochir.G, Honored teacher of Mongolia, PhD and professor, Khandsuren.S, Honored teacher of Mongolia and professor, Myagmarsuren.B ,Head of the Department of Economics of NUM, PhD and associate professor, Tuul.Yu ,Head of the Department of Business Administration of Etugen University, PhD and professor, Naranchimeg.Ch, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics of IFE and PhD, and Eldev-Ochir.T, lecturer at Orkhon School of NUM, took part in the proceedings of the Olympiad and shared memory and impression of Sandagsuren.B.  

In addition, 65 students of 55 teams from Universities and Institutes including Mandakh Burtgel University, School of Arts and Sciences of NUM, Business School of NUM, Business School of the University of Humanities, IFE, Ikh Zasag International University, Etugen University and Orkhon School of NUM participated in the Olympiad and tested their knowledge and ability.

Team “N.U.M” of Business School of NUM took first place with 203 points, team “MUIS” of Business School of NUM took 2nd place with 190 points and team “Evaluation” of School of Arts and Sciences of NUM took 3rd place with 189 points.

Baljinnyam.G, student of School of Arts and Sciences of NUM, took 1st place, Gerelsuvd. E, student of Business School of NUM took 2nd place as well as Munkhtuvshin.G, student of Mandakh Burtgel University, took 3rd place.

Teams were selected in TOP-10 from 55 groups involved in the Olympiad.

Team and student placed first places received reward and memorial gift from “Mandakh Education Fund” established by children of founder. Furthermore, Administration of Mandakh Burtgel University decided to organize the Olympiad annually.
