The Department of Accounting at Mandakh University successfully organized the 28th annual "Accounting Skills Tournament" (AST) on April 8 and 10, 2025, continuing a tradition that began in 1998. The competition was held in two stages and brought together four teams from six third-year classes in the Accounting program.
Teams competed across 11 different challenges, with four contests in the first round and seven in the second, testing their academic knowledge, practical skills, and teamwork. The results were as follows:
???? 1st Place – Accounting-English 3 & Bank-Easy Busy Team, awarded a certificate and ₮500,000
???? 2nd Place – Accounting-Information Systems & Law 3-Tooёс Team, awarded a certificate and ₮400,000
???? 3rd Place – Accounting-Tax 3-Tax Avengers Team, awarded a certificate and ₮300,000
As part of the tournament’s home assignment, students also showcased their creativity through two performances: ???? “Accounting Trends” – a theatrical play, and ???? “Funny Accountant” – a comedy act.
These segments aimed to express professional knowledge in a fun and engaging way, promote teamwork, and make the field of accounting more accessible and interesting. Through this mixed-format competition, students not only applied theoretical concepts to real-life scenarios but also demonstrated stage presence, problem-solving, and a spirit of enthusiasm and collaboration.
