Mandakh University successfully organized its annual Blood Donation Day under the slogan "Give Blood, Save Every Beating Heart", in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Center. This year’s event took place on March 12, 2025, and brought together a large number of participants from the university community.
A total of 74 faculty members, staff, and students participated in the event, donating 25 liters of blood. Through this generous act, they contributed to saving precious lives. Since each unit of donated blood can be separated into three different components, the collected blood has the potential to benefit up to 222 patients in need.
Remarkably, 50% of the donors were repeat participants, donating for the 3rd to 11th time, meaning some individuals have helped save the lives of 10 to 33 people over the years.
A 7-member team from the Blood Transfusion Center facilitated the donation process. As a token of appreciation, each donor received tomato juice, dark chocolate, and carrot juice to support their recovery.
