Accreditation is a process through which an authorized external body evaluates and recognizes an educational institution or a specific unit of an educational institution based on predetermined quality standards and criteria, confirming that the institution or unit meets or exceeds the established requirements.
Accreditation is generally conducted in two main forms: institutional accreditation, which covers the activities of an educational institution as a whole, and program accreditation, which covers a specific academic program or educational unit.
Our university community initiated the process of institutional accreditation at the national level and has successfully undergone accreditation in 1999, 2004, 2015, 2018, and 2024, in accordance with the established criteria and requirements.
The University has also initiated the program accreditation process and has successfully obtained accreditation for its academic programs by meeting the relevant criteria and requirements. In particular, the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Accounting has been accredited five times and has become recognized as a “Flagship” program of the University. In addition, other academic programs have been accredited according to the planned schedule, as presented below.
