ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018

In 2017, Mandakh University became the first private university in Mongolia to implement the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). In 2020, the University implemented the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management Systems standard and obtained certification from IRCLASS, an Indian certification body. As a result, Mandakh University became the first university in Mongolia to implement the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management Systems standard.

Through the continuous implementation and maintenance of the requirements and criteria of these international standards, Mandakh University successfully fulfilled the requirements of both standards simultaneously and underwent recertification in 2023 by SFCS, an internationally recognized conformity assessment body, and obtained the relevant certificates.

In 2024, 2025, and 2026, the University underwent external audits and confirmed its continued compliance with the criteria and requirements of both international standards.

Peregrine Academic Service

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is the first accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit business schools and programs worldwide. Mandakh University is among the first institutions in Mongolia to have received both institutional and programmatic accreditation from ACBSP. As part of its commitment to meeting accreditation requirements and ensuring educational quality, the University annually administers independent assessments conducted by Peregrine Global Services, an ACBSP Platinum Sponsor, to evaluate student learning outcomes and measure academic progress.

The outbound exam, administered to graduating students, is an important indicator of educational quality and provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of curriculum development, revision, and continuous improvement. During the 2025–2026 academic year, a total of 50 first-year students took the inbound exam, which assesses students’ entry-level knowledge and skills, while 50 fourth-year students took the outbound exam to measure their learning outcomes upon completion of their studies. The University’s average score on the outbound exam was 43.58, representing an increase of 3.79 points compared with the previous academic year.

Notably, fourth-year students in the Accounting program achieved an average outbound exam score of 53.33, exceeding the average of 48.09 for private higher education institutions in Mongolia by 5.24 points and the average of 48.60 for public higher education institutions by 4.73 points.

These results reflect the University’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality, strengthen learning outcomes, and continuously improve its academic programs.

Certified Management Accountant (CMA) program

Since 2023, Mandakh University has regularly involved its faculty members in the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) program, offered by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), USA, and an internationally recognized professional certification program in management accounting. From 2023 to 2026, Mandakh University initiated cooperation with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and gradually involved faculty members in the CMA Program. A significant achievement during 2025–2026 was having a faculty member obtain the CMA certification, as well as the University’s active participation in international training programs and professional events.

Chartered Manager (CMgr) Program

Since 2023, Mandakh University has been collaborating with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), a professional body in the United Kingdom that provides professional accreditation and certification in management.

Implementation of the CMgr Program over the past three years

Going forward, the University needs to increase the number of faculty members and management staff who obtain CMA and CMgr certifications, respectively, and integrate the knowledge and skills acquired through these programs into the academic curriculum to enhance students’ professional competencies and international competitiveness.
