Mandakh University students successfully participate in the online event organized among the students from around the world, hosted by Tohoku University, Japan

 

Tohoku University, Japan has organized the online event  aiming to get students from around the world to discuss a topic and present their findings briefly , between April 8th and May 27th, 2021. The wrap-up  meeting of this event was successfully held yesterday online.

The students from all corners of the world  joined the meeting online in groups  for the period of one and a half months  making friends, having conversations, exchanging ideas, learning from each other as well as sharing experiences.

In the presentation session of the event, the students made presentations on the general topic “Regional Impact of Covid-19” analysing the impact of Covid on the society of the home country of each student using government reported data, to compare the impacts and their causes. There were totally 13 presentations discussed during  the meeting and our two students, who were representing their groups, T.Namuun, Graduate student and E.Tsatsral, the 2nd year Financial management student,  made  presentations  on “How did your country deal with the pandemic?” and “ The impact of Covid-19 on the economy and the employment rate”, respectively.   

The event was participated by over 40 undergraduate and graduate students from Mongolia, Germany, Denmark, Romania, Georgia, Poland, Tunisia, Indonesia, Japan, Columbia, Vietnam, China and Italy.

The organizers, Tohoku University have expressed their warm gratitude to all participating students for their active participation and presentations by attaching their  high importance to the event.

 From the presentations made by students from different countries, we can see that the challenges and negative issues that occurred in Mongolia due to Covid-19, are the same in other countries.
