MANDAKH UNIVERSITY BEGINS PREPARATIONS FOR IJAS INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION

In anticipation of its 35th anniversary and as part of its strategic objective to strengthen its regional recognition, Mandakh University has decided to pursue institutional accreditation through iJAS (International Joint Accreditation), a joint accreditation organization established by five countries.

To this end, the University has established a dedicated working group and is actively preparing for the accreditation process. As part of these preparations, the working group has held its regular meeting to develop the University's Self-Evaluation Report and is carrying out the necessary preparatory activities.

Previously, Mandakh University was first accredited by the ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) in 2014, becoming the first university in Mongolia to participate in and receive accreditation from the organization. Subsequently, on April 22, 2024, the University successfully renewed its international accreditation for another 10-year period, reaffirming its commitment to academic quality. At the national level, Mandakh University has also been accredited for the fourth time for a 10-year period by the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation (MNCEA), making it one of the leading higher education institutions in Mongolia with a strong record of quality assurance.

Furthermore, in line with its commitment to the continuous improvement of educational management and quality, Mandakh University has successfully implemented the international standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management Systems, with ISO 21001:2018 being among the pioneering implementations in Mongolia's higher education sector.

The newly initiated iJAS international accreditation process is expected to play an important role in advancing the University's educational quality, research impact, and international cooperation to a new level.
