SYMPOSIUM ON “ACCOUNTING INNOVATION” SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED

Mandakh University, in collaboration with the National Council for Education Accreditation, organized a symposium under the theme “Accounting Innovation” on April 15, 2026. This event was part of the ongoing “Education and Innovation” symposium series initiated by the Council.

The symposium brought together a wide range of participants, including leaders and representatives from governmental and non-governmental professional accounting organizations, university faculty members, researchers, and employer representatives, fostering a broad and engaging discussion.

The symposium was officially opened by Dr. B. Amarsanaa, Director of the National Council for Education Accreditation and Associate Professor, who introduced the objectives and expected outcomes of the event.

The following presentations were delivered during the symposium:

  1. Prof. Dr. G. Batkhuu – “Code Red: The Future of Business Education”
  2. B. Oyunbaatar, Executive Director of the Mongolian Institute of Certified Public Accountants – “Trends in the Accounting Profession”
  3. Denver Grigg, Regional President (Region 8) of ACBSP – “Innovation in Business and Accounting”
  4. Kh. Nyambayar, Associate Professor and Director of the School of Accounting, Mandakh University – “The Future of Accounting Education and Digital Transformation”

 

Key Discussion Outcomes

The symposium focused on the following key issues:

  • Emerging trends in business education and professional accounting education
  • Innovative approaches to integrating artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and cloud technologies into accounting education, as well as experience sharing among participants
  • Practical recommendations and institutional experiences (including Mandakh University) for improving accounting curricula in alignment with international standards and digital transformation
  • Methods for automating accounting, auditing, and reporting processes, and effectively incorporating artificial intelligence into teaching and learning
  • Expanding and strengthening collaboration among professional organizations
  • Enhancing accreditation and quality assurance systems for accounting programs at national and regional levels
  • Improving and innovating the professional competencies and competitiveness of accounting specialists  

The discussions were highly focused and constructive, and participants expressed strong appreciation for the significance and impact of the symposium.
