A scientific conference for master’s and doctoral students of the Graduate School was successfully held on April 17, 2026, on the second floor of the library at Mandakh University. A total of 15 master’s students presented and discussed the results of their research work during the conference.
The panel of judges consisted of Prof. PhD. Ch. Turbadrakh, Vice-President for Academic Affairs; PhD. O. Burmaa, Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate School; and PhD. L. Gunjargal, Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Economics and Business.
The primary objective of the conference was to conduct a preliminary evaluation of the theoretical and methodological foundations, originality, and level of research design of the master’s students’ studies, and to provide professional recommendations to ensure compliance with academic standards.
As a result of the conference, participants demonstrated clearer and more refined research topics, along with noticeable improvements in theoretical and methodological rigor and the quality of academic writing. Furthermore, the approved research topics were found to be more aligned with master’s-level requirements, enabling students to advance to the thesis defense stage.
Based on the evaluation of research originality and quality of execution, the committee selected three master’s students for recognition and awarded them university prizes.
This scientific conference served as an important platform for enhancing the quality of research conducted by graduate and doctoral students, fostering critical thinking, and identifying future research directions. The organizers plan to hold this conference regularly in order to increase the engagement and participation of graduate-level students.
