“FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT WEEK” ORGANIZED WITHIN ENGLISH, MONGOLIAN, KOREAN, AND JAPANESE LANGUAGE COURSES

2026-04-16

The “Foreign Language Department Week” was successfully organized among more than 200 first- and second-level students of Mandakh University from April 6 to April 10, 2026, in both in-person and online formats. The event included nine competitions in English, Mongolian, Korean, and Japanese languages.

The main objectives of the event were to enhance students’ motivation and interest in learning foreign languages, encourage academic achievement, provide opportunities to test the knowledge and skills acquired in class, and promote mutual learning among students.

A distinctive feature of this year’s event was the inclusion of Korean and Japanese Language and Culture Days. These activities aimed to provide participants with knowledge about the respective countries’ language, culture, history, traditions, customs, national attire, and cuisine, thereby creating an immersive language and cultural environment. Additionally, students from the Korean Language Club and pupils from Mandakh Lyceum High School delivered a K-Pop dance performance as a greeting.
