THE 11TH STUDENT SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE OF THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT

The “11th Student Scientific Conference,” traditionally organized annually by the Department of Accounting and Analysis, was successfully held on December 5, 2025. A total of 17 research presentations by 35 students from second- to fourth-level at Mandakh University were presented and discussed. The following students were awarded top prizes:

First Place:
The Impact of Financial Stress on Students’ Academic Performance

Second Place:
The Impact of ESG on Financial Performance
(Ts. Nyamsuren – Accounting Law, Year 3)

Second Place:
Factors Influencing the Choice of Accounting as a Profession
(M. Munkh-uchral, T. Enkhtaivan, N. Oyunmaa – Accounting, Year 2-2)

Third Place:
Sustainability Reporting and a Comparative Study of Universities
(G. Munkhchimeg – Accounting Banking, Year 4)

Special Prize:
Assessing the Professional Skills of Accounting Students Based on the International Accounting Education Standards (IES-3)
(B. Oyunlkhagva, B. Bayasakh, P. Undram – Accounting, Year 2-2)

This year’s conference featured a wide range of research topics. In particular, there were many notable studies related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues, as well as topics concerning the choice of the accounting profession and professional skills.
