MANDAKH UNIVERSITY RENEWS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE

As part of its efforts to expand the scope of cooperation, Mandakh University renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Statistics Office of Mongolia (NSO) and signed the renewed agreement on October 2, 2026.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at Mandakh University and was attended by a delegation led by B. Batdavaa, Chairman of the National Statistics Office, and a delegation led by Professor G. Nanjid, President of Mandakh University.

During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views on the current status of their cooperation and discussed future activities, identifying key areas for further collaboration.

The two institutions agreed to cooperate in the following areas:

  • Student Internships and Employment: Supporting internship opportunities for students and employment opportunities for graduates;
  • Data-Driven Research: Integrating education and research with real-world data through the use of the NSO's databases;
  • Joint Research: Conducting joint research projects between the two institutions;
  • Training and Professional Engagement: Involving NSO specialists in training activities and academic programme-related activities;
  • Academic and Professional Development: Organizing joint academic conferences, seminars, and professional development training programmes;
  • Student Competitions: Jointly organizing statistics-based olympiads, competitions, and other academic contests;
  • Research and Methodology: Conducting research and developing recommendations to improve statistical and financial reporting methodologies;
  • Professional Events: Collaborating in and jointly participating in events related to statistics;
  • Human Resource Development: Supporting NSO officials in pursuing master's and doctoral degrees, as well as professional development and specialized training programmes.

The renewed Memorandum of Understanding is expected to elevate cooperation between the two institutions to a new level by promoting education and research based on statistical information and real-world data, enhancing students' practical skills, and supporting the professional development of human resources.
