 “FORUM ON ESG AND SUSTAINABILITY DISCLOSURE STANDARDS” SUCCESSFULLY HELD

The School of Accounting at Mandakh University successfully organized the annual “Sustainable Development Week” campaign from April 27 to May 1, 2026, as part of the “Sustainable Development Goals–2030” initiative.

Within the framework of the campaign, various activities such as competitions, Olympiads, and volunteer initiatives were held with the participation of faculty members, staff, students, and partner organizations. These activities aimed to enhance understanding of sustainable development, reduce waste, and promote quality education.

One of the key events of this year’s campaign was the forum titled “Sustainability Disclosure Standards and ESG Reporting,” successfully held on May 1, 2026. The forum emphasized the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, and discussed the readiness assessment for implementing sustainability disclosure standards in Mongolia, as well as future trends in this field.

Experts from the sector delivered presentations on the following topics:

  • “Business Sustainable Transition and ESG Implementation” by G. Bolormaa, Standards and Certification Manager at the Sustainable Finance NGO
  • “ESG Risk Management” by B. Anuujin, Head of the Sustainable Finance Department at Golomt Bank
  • “Presentation of Mandakh University’s ESG Baseline Assessment” by PhD. A. Narantsatsrag, Associate Professor and faculty member of Mandakh University
  • “Readiness Assessment and Roadmap Project for Sustainability Disclosure Standards” by S. Oyunsombo (CGMA), consultant of the Asian Development Bank project.  

The forum was widely attended by Mandakh University alumni, partner organizations, faculty members, staff, students, and interested institutions, making it a highly productive event that facilitated valuable knowledge and experience exchange.
