IMPLEMENTATION OF A PROJECT TO ASSESS ESG BASELINE PERFORMANCE

With the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, a baseline assessment of the University’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance was conducted under the project “Improving ESG Performance of Enterprises in Mongolia.” The assessment was carried out by Resilience Consulting Service LLC between December 21, 2025, and April 15, 2026, in close collaboration with the University.

Through the implementation of this project, the following outcomes were achieved:

  • Assessment of the current level of the institution’s sustainable development performance and governance framework, along with the identification of strategically important priority areas and potential long-term ESG risks;
  • Enhancement of the university’s sustainable development practices and management systems in alignment with international standards;
  • Improvement of institutional competitiveness and social responsibility through strengthened ESG performance;
  • Establishment of a more systematic approach to ESG policy and strategic planning, positively impacting risk management, transparency, and stakeholder trust;
  • Expansion of cooperation with both domestic and international organizations;
  • Increased opportunities to participate in various projects and programs.

The parties concluded that this initiative has made a meaningful contribution to strengthening ESG performance and advancing sustainable development objectives.
