The “27th National Accounting Olympiad,” traditionally organized annually by the Mongolian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, was successfully held from April 15 to 17, 2026. This year’s Olympiad was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Institute.
A total of 50 students from 10 universities offering accounting programs competed, demonstrating their knowledge, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. The participating institutions included:
The Olympiad was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, participants competed individually by solving theoretical test problems. In the second stage, they worked in teams on case studies and completed tasks using the Smart Accounting software.

In the individual category, B. Nomundari, a fourth-year student from the Darkhan-Uul Branch of Mandakh University, won first place and was awarded the gold medal. Having also secured first place in the previous Olympiad, she achieved the distinction of becoming a two-time champion, marking the second such achievement in the history of the Olympiad. The first two-time champion was Mandakh University alumna Naranjargal.

Smart Logic LLC supported the National Accounting Olympiad for the second consecutive year. The company awarded prizes to the top three winners and granted VIP membership to Smart Academy for invited past participants. The awards were presented by D. Bolor, CEO of Smart Logic LLC.

A total of 17 faculty members served as team leaders and supervisors for the participating universities. The top five team leaders were recognized with certificates and monetary awards:
